Victron Batteries

Victron LiFePO4 Batteries are available in two series: those with an external BMS (Battery Management System) and those with an internal BMS.

Victron Energy Lithium Battery Smart Series:

  • Type: Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4)
  • Voltages Available: 12.8V or 25.6V
  • Configurations: Can be connected in series, parallel, or series/parallel to create battery banks for system voltages of 12V, 24V, or 48V
  • Capacity: Support up to 20 batteries in one system, with a maximum energy storage of 84 kWh in a 12V system and up to 102 kWh in 24V and 48V systems
  • BMS Requirement: External BMS required for operation

Victron SuperPack Batteries:

  • Ease of Installation: No additional components needed
  • Internal Safety Features: Built-in switch disconnects the battery in case of over-discharge, over-charge, or extreme temperatures
  • Configuration Limitation: Can be connected in parallel only; series connection is not allowed
  • Positioning: Must be used in an upright position only
